A natural entrepreneur, I started my first business, Exhibit A Models, at 22. Back in 2002, social media was barely a whisper of what it is today – I was networking on MySpace and a site called OneModelPlace. I honestly believe that if social media had been as mature and accessible then as it is now, I would have reached even greater heights. I ran my promotional modeling company through online networking for seven years, and the truth is, connecting with people through the internet fascinated me so much that I never really stopped.
Over the years, I stayed deeply involved in the evolution of social media, investing countless hours researching strategies and staying on the cutting edge of professional digital marketing. And I genuinely love it. I get so excited about social media: watching posts go viral, seeing numbers grow, making people laugh, and connecting real sales to a well-crafted series of posts. I also love studying how successful brands are doing it right. Social media, I believe, truly levels the playing field for startups, local retailers, and small businesses.
Social Media Marketing
At 30, I decided it was time to earn my degree. The obvious choice? An accredited university (online, of course). I earned my Bachelor of Science in Communication in June of 2015. Throughout those four-plus years, I worked from home managing social media for local organizations in my hometown of Wooster, Ohio. The more I did it, the more I knew: this is what I want to do for the rest of my working days.
I founded Jus B Media in April of 2015, and over the past ten years, it has grown from your “local social media girl” into a well-rounded boutique agency that can handle all the things: social media management, digital advertising, and websites that don’t just look good, but actually convert. In that time, I’ve also become a proud graduate of Leadership Medina County, Class of 2025. What an amazing experience that has deepened my commitment to serving the communities and businesses I work with.
At Jus B Media, we use proprietary communication software both in-house and to stay seamlessly connected with our clients, called The Honey Pot, because great results start with great communication. As the digital landscape continues to shift, I’m passionate about staying ahead of it. That includes actively educating the community through workshops on the benefits – and the very real disadvantages – of AI in marketing. Knowing the tools is one thing; knowing how to use them wisely is another.
My goals for Jus B Media are simple: to drive real, measurable results for my clients through social media, influencer marketing, digital advertising, and websites built to convert while helping them understand that digital marketing isn’t just the most cost-effective answer to their marketing needs, it’s the most powerful way to connect with their audience and turn that connection into revenue. I want to watch my clients’ bottom lines soar. I’m passionate about what I do, and because of that, I want nothing more than to see my clients absolutely booming in their industry.
